you are superheroes.

I don’t know how you ladies do it.

I don’t know how you have kids and stay sane.

Don’t get me wrong, I think I want kids someday. Hopefully within the next two years, actually.

But I can hardly keep my composure with two dogs and two cats.

They are exhausting! I keep yelling. I keep telling them to behave. I am constantly on the run. They are constantly trying to get our attention.

While we’re making dinner. While we’re watching TV. While I’m on the computer. When I’m in the bathroom {no joke, if I don’t let Oscar follow me everywhere he sits outside the door crying and trying to scratch his way in}.

I.am.worn.out. True story.

And for those moms who work and have kids? You are all superheroes.

In honor of all of you tonight, I’m putting the “kids” to sleep and snuggling up with a good book and a glass of wine while I play single “mom” tonight while BF is working late.

    I don't feel like a superhero, I just feel constantly flustered. 🙁

Girl being a stay at home mom is so hard! But worth it! And it's hard enough with my little doggy too, they are stinkers! HAHA!

I have one dog and she can be like having a baby. Being a hound means that she likes to whine and whimper all the time. I love her but she can make me crazy!!!

Sometimes I feel like if she is this much work, what is a baby going to be like?!?!

I don't have kids, but I did do daycare for five years (and I did have a dog in my Former Life) & one of the biggest differences between pets & kids (beside the obvious) is that kids grow up & learn to do more & more for themselves. Having a pet is like having a perpetual 2-year-old. =P
