writer’s workshop: last days of summer

It’s Thursday so it’s time for Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop. These past few weeks have been a struggle to really write since I’ve had so much anxiety about the move… so here is my best shot at.

How will you enjoy your last days of freedom (aka summer)?

I will pack up my car and head east on interstate 90. I will start my new job in a familiar city. I become reacquainted with lost friends. I will miss BF like crazy. I will go to my college roommates wedding to her highschool sweetheart. I will find a place to live in Syracuse. I will explore the city. But mostly I will miss BF.

Obviously I’m anticipating my last days of summer being new, great and wonderful, but I know that I will truly be sad and missing him. SIGH.

It's wonderful that you're getting to go back to a place that you love. Is the BF going to move there eventually? It's hard at first, but you will adjust and it will become the new “normal”. I had a very successful long-distance relationship (we eventually broke up but it was for a different reason).

WOW…good luck with this new change (yet a familiar one). Hopefully this will help you and your BF grow even stronger in your relationship! Good luck and have fun!

Everything happens for a reason… I'm sure it will only help you both. Plus you get to see old friends again, that's a perk!

    Congratulations on you new job!!
Let's not dwell on the down side….look to the new and exciting. If it's to be, the two of you will end up together again. I wish you great happiness.

    Have a beautiful day

That so sucks that you are going to miss you honey. I know how bad that hurts!! All you can do is focus on the positive, like you are!!!
