Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.

SCREAM! AHHHHHH!

Ok. Why the screaming?

I took a personal day at work yesterday so I could go to the doctor and get a holter monitor on to monitor my sometimes dramatic heartbeat. BF and I went for a run and did some rollerblading just to make sure I was being my semi-active self while I was being monitored.

But wearing it sucked. It had to be on for 24 hours… and they wanted me back to remove it today. I did not know this when I set up the first appointment. Grr. I called work and tried to schedule another personal day… a no go due to a policy we have at work. Oh well. So I used a sick day — which I HATE doing. I hate even looking slightly irresponsible – However, I do know that my health is more important than anything else (especially more important than any work that could have gotten done today).

So Grrr to policies at work and holter monitors.

Second scream – I went to a popular electronics store to look at the Nike+ that a fellow blogger had recommended. I asked the salesman if it would work with my iPhone. He said no. I then asked if it would work with my iPod Classic he said yes. I asked AGAIN just to make certain that I was hearing him correctly. He said yes, it just won’t work with the iPhone.

Ok, so I bought it, splurged on a new pair of running shoes and started to put it together when I got home.

Message appears: Not compatible with this device.

I’m sorry…. WTF?

Do some research online. Requires an iPod Nano 4th Gen or iPod Touch 2nd Gen.

WTF.

Thinking about calling Popular Electronics Store and asking for a MAJOR disconnect on an iPod Nano. What do you think? Think it’s worth it?

And for those that asked, as far as I know I’m not dying. But we’ll find out the results of the monitor.
