{ weekly mantra } + my week in review

What happens when you have ever intention of blogging on a Sunday night? Life. Life happens. And what exactly does life throw your way? Nausea and vomiting. That’s what.

To be fair, I totally, totally, totally, brought it on myself. I may or may not have thought I was a competitive eater for the first time in my entire life. I mean, I ate like I would never see food again, last night. No joke. I was just so hungry. I couldn’t believe it! Well, that is until I got myself out of a hot bath last night and realized that my body was not happy that I was prepping it for a Man. vs. Food competition. Ugh.

As someone with a legit phobia of vomit, I have to say, for the first time in my life — I felt better afterward!

PS. Didn’t expect to hear the V-word a hundred times on a Monday morning? Woops! Sorry about that.

 looking back at my week:

  • Put in another week of 10-hour work days.
  • took another relaxing Lush Bath Bomb bath — complete with an eBook and a glass of {fake} wine.

  • purchased 2 additional nursery items, courtesy of etsy.

  • made only one trip to Home Depot.
  • went to dinner with Chad, both of my parents, and my 2 aunts at The Rail.
  • put together Baby Boy’s dresser — and started to put clothes away!

  • finished up our mini-kitchen renovation project – next up – a fresh coat of paint!
  • went to our 32-week OB checkup appointment and presented our birth plan.

This week I’m going to be uber productive! I’m totally feeling the need to nest. Big time!

I believe I will never get another good night of sleep for the rest of this pregnancy. And I’m starting to accept it for what it is.

I’m addicted to my to-do list. And I just keep adding and adding to it.

I wish that my hopes + dreams to be productive this week become a reality! I was kind of in a

I’m happy to have a husband that puts up with my nonsense 🙂 He’s so great!

I hate the V-word too but sometimes you just have to throw up to feel better. For me, that’s the case when I have a migrane.

Glad to hear you got so much accomplished this weekend and that someone else is addicted to their to-do lists, my wedding list is taking over my life!

Good luck with that growing to-do list. I got one myself that’s constantly never ending!

I hate that vomit-y feeling but like you said, sometimes it just better to get it out.
    Hope you feel better.

Ugh! sorry you weren’t feeling so hot, but sometimes throwing up does feel so much better afterwards. Have a good week, and try to only do something like 9 hour days 😉 Give yourself a break!

I think you’re right about no more good sleep in pregnancy! I guess I just have to accept that fact!

I love your boppy and changing pad covers!!
