{ weekly mantra & gender reveal }

This week is all about staying in this moment. Last week I let some aspects overwhelm me. And it totally threw off some of my days. I am making a promise to myself to be more mindful of how I let others feelings & actions affect me and my mood.

I believe in making educated choices & decisions about my pregnancy and delivery.

I’m addicted to preparing. It’s a blessing and a curse.

I wish for a week full of smiling. I didn’t smile nearly enough last week! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m happy when I’m in the comfort of our home. Especially in bed. Oh my gosh — I love sleep!

Weekly mantra: Be happy!

Oh! And before I forget…

Since I kind of left everyone hanging last week the morning of our ultrasound.

The ultrasound was awesome! Chad got to see Baby L for the first time.

And Baby L was wiling to give us a good look!

IT’S A BOY!

We are so excited to know that we’ll be having a boy in October! ๐Ÿ™‚

There may or may not have been a healthy number of tears shed during the ultrasound,
but it’s so cool to be able to starting calling “it” a “he”!

Filed Under: mantra, Oh baby!

    Good for you for getting informed about your delivery! I see so many friends and family suffer through decisions that the doctor makes for them. And I know that you’re a very active person and that is so going to be in your favor throughout the pregnancy.

    congrats on your boy! kids aren’t my thing, but my mom had a girl, then a boy, and wanted another boy cus they were “so easy” and then she got me….she claims she was happy. But, the general consensus is that boys are good “starter babies” I don’t get it , cus I don’t get babies….but easy is nice, right?!

    get all the rest you need, you are growing another human being, I don’t think people give mothers enough credit at all!!!
