This. This is my mantra for the week.

One of my yoga teachers at Yoga Bliss said it during class over the weekend.

It’s incredible that a casually mentioned phrase could stick in my mind for so long. But it did. In fact, it’s still there.

Stuck.

Cause guess what? Big changes don’t happen overnight. They take pressure — pressure on my body, mind and emotions. And time — time to get back to the point where I was before.

So this week my goal is to focus on living with this mantra. Acknowledging it in every moment. If I stumble, I’ll forgive myself and get back up again.

And I’m so excited to see my extended family next Saturday. The last time we were all together was over the holidays, so it will be fantastic to see everyone.

I’m still addicted to my Netflix queue. I’m now through the entire first season of the Netflix original, House of Cards. It’s a political drama starring Kevin Spacey. And it’s pretty good.

I wish I could find the energy to vacuum every day. Seriously. That’s my one true cleaning goal. Sometimes I’ll leave work on my lunch break just to cross it off my to-do list.

I’m happy when the dog doesn’t wake me up at night. The worst thing ever is to have a sleeping baby but be awakened by a snoring dog. Ugh.
