{ weekly mantra }

This week is my first full week back at work. It’s oddly nice being back amongst the living. But I have a feeling I’m going to be exhausted by weeks’ end.

I believe in finding a work/life balance. And I’ll be making a conscious effort to make sure I find it.

I’m addicted to Chad’s homemade guacamole. Seriously. Beats Chipotle guac hands down!

I wish that the laundry fairy would magically fold and put away our clothes. Ugh. My least favorite chore of all time. Which explains why Ari’s clothes are all over the nursery. What? It’s not like he’s sleeping in there.

I’m happy to have had a full 12 weeks of maternity leave; 11 of which were spent with my beautiful little guy. And I’m grateful to have a husband who supported the idea of me taking the full 12 weeks, even though only 6 weeks were (partially) paid.

      Oddly, I don’t mind the actual laundry part… it’s the folding + putting the clothes away where I lose interest πŸ™‚

    I don’t mind laundry. Cleaning the kitchen is another story. That’s probably why I avoid cooking. It requires cleaning! I hope you have an awesome full week back πŸ™‚
