{ weekly mantra }

This week I plan on doing lots of holiday baking and preparations for our holiday trip to Kentucky. ๐Ÿ™‚

I believe it really does take a village to raise a kid. My ‘village’ is our amazing family and friends. They’ve helped us out tremendously and I will forever be grateful to have these people in my life.

I’m addicted to Starbucks Christmas blend k-cups. They are sold out nearly everywhere, but I happened to stumble upon a bunch of them at the Starbucks inside Target! Woo hoo!

I wish that I could convince myself to just stay up when I take my ‘shift’ watching Ari at 2:30 am. Every time I fall back asleep, I’m more exhausted than before. I’m going to make a [semi-]conscious effort to stay awake and get things done this week. And to go to the gym and walk when they open at 5:30 am. Might as well!

I’m happy and grateful that I still have a few weeks left of maternity leave. I am savoring this time for sure. I know it’s going to go too fast.
