Before I get started — a bit of housekeeping! Two tickets for Red + White on Thursday Night are still up for grabs, so head on over to the giveaway and enter!

This week will be different. I swear it will be. It has to be! I mean, I’m still totally drained from last week (and the week before; and the week before that…). It just really has to be. And if yesterday was any indication of how this week will go, I’ll say that we’re headed in the right direction!

I’m grateful to have a fresh start with this brand new week. Sure, for most this ‘fresh start’ happens on January 1st. But at this point, I’m fine with pushing it back 8+ days. Ha!

‪A trip to @costco, where we ran into @eatdrinkcleveland + then a delicious dinner at home! Not a bad Sunday! ‬???

I’m actually content after having a really good family day yesterday. Sure, it was mostly boring. I mean, all we did was go to Costco! But, still, it was the best day we’ve had in weeks. Weeks!!

I wish for health for the remainder of this year. I know, I know. But a girl can dream, right!? Fingers crossed, y’all!

I really am happy that it’s a new year. It came and went with little fanfare for us, but I promise there will be more on my plans for 2017 — soon! I’ve just been too busy trying to keep people healthy to put my plans into words and into actions, but very, very, soon!

Weekly Mantra:

I borrowed this graphic from somewhere this week and it 1000% resonated with me. It still does. I love it. Especially after trudging through complete and utter nonsense these past few weeks. I have to say, it was difficult, but I continued to get up and rise to each day. So when I came across this, I just… breathed. I breathed a sigh of, ‘yes!’ Preach, Maya Angelou!

Have an absolutely wonderful week, friends! xo

I needed to read this today. I will have to put this quote up somewhere in my house so I remember to repeat it to myself. Thank you for the inspiration!

Sometimes all you can do is breathe! The days and weeks can be crazy but enjoying the little things like a successful visit to Costco can make all the difference.

Sometimes the normal “boring” days with the family (going grocery shopping, errands) are my favorite 🙂 Especially after a rough couple of weeks. Mantras help me so much too! I hope this week is much smoother for you!! <3
