Weekly Mantra  //

This week is already off to a bit of a rough start. I had the best of intentions, I swear. After a weekend that seemed busy, but truly wasn’t (honestly we didn’t even leave the house until Sunday afternoon. And that was simply because Remy and I HAD to be somewhere), I decided to just go to bed early with both kids last night. Well we’ve been trying to (finally) sleep train Remy. So after she finally stopped screaming Ari and I both fell asleep. That is until he decided that he needed to be wide awake for 3.5 hours in the middle of the night. ?

So my plans to wake up refreshed and well-rested?? POOF! Disappeared. Sigh.

I’m grateful to have had a weekend with zero plans. They are infrequent. And this one was definitely needed, as I’ve been struggling with some random bouts of vertigo.

I’m still waiting for Miss Bea to get over this cold so I can finally be content. And I really wish that we could all be healthy for a week. But, ’tis the season, am I right?! Blah!

Happiness is no longer hunting for Ari’s Christmas present! That’s right — I thought I was early with the Christmas present shopping! But it turns out, Hatchimals are a pretty hot commodity. After searching (and stalking stores) for weeks, my mom happened upon one over the weekend. So Ari’s ‘big’ Christmas present is d-o-n-e! Anyone else on the hunt for these silly toys!?

Weekly Mantra: 

Okay so this is the least “mantra-y” mantra ever. But, after last week, I need as many giggles in my life as possible. And these Joe Biden memes are killing me! This one is my personal fave. 🙂
