{ weekly mantra }

This week I’ll be focusing on only the things that are truly important: our little family {me, Chad and Baby L}. Last week we both were a little too busy with things. We lost focus. So after discussing with Chad this weekend about how we have very few weekends left before baby boy arrives, we came to the conclusion that we need to start really focusing on us as a family and gearing up for the big day!

I believe that life is too short to worry things that don’t actually matter in the grand scheme of things. I was reminded of that lesson last week when I found out that a friend from Syracuse passed away, at far too young of an age.

I’m addicted to organizing my Pins from Pinterest! Especially recipes. I’m trying to stock up on freezer recipe ideas so that post-pregnancy things will be a bit easier.

I wish that there were about 6 more hours in every day. I’m feeling the strain of not having enough time to get everything done lately.

I’m happy that the Bachelorette is finally over {even though I was totally Team Arie} because now the real drama {aka, Bachelor Pad!} begins! Ha! Chad is SO not happy that our TV will continue to be taken hostage by trashy TV.

    I did freezer meals when I worked at the hospital and they are an awesome time saver! I have a deep freeze so I would spend Sunday making all my meals for the week and if the recipe made enough for 4, I would separate into two bags. If you need cheap foil pans or containers for some of the items, go to GFS if you have one or a party store. I found they were cheaper there than at the grocery store.

    There are also lots of great freezer meal cookbooks on Amazon (I have a few) and some that are exclusive to be cooked in the crockpot which I LOVE!!!! Sorry that was such a long comment, I just love freezer meals!
