Weekly Mantra //

This week cannot go by fast enough. Seriously. Remy sees a chiropractor next Monday to (hopefully) help with our sleep issues. And that appointment has been weeks — weeks! — in the making. And I have been kicking myself for not just biting the bullet and making the appointment sooner.

I’m grateful for the woman who showed how far a small act of kindness can go. If you didn’t see my post about our experience at Build-A-Bear, check it out!

I’m content mostly. That is, until I’m anxious. Yeah, I’m kinda still struggling with postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. And mostly, like I said, I’m content and okay. But then, seemingly out of nowhere, PPD and anxiety rear their ugly heads. And suddenly I’m a mess. A shell of a human, incoherently looking past people as I talk to them. It’s exhausting. But sometimes I’m content. Ya know? #PPDsucks

I wish we could catch a break with Miss Bea. I know I sound like a broken record, but she’s exhausting, friends.

Happiness is when your husband takes the monster (I mean, the Remy) for the night and only wakes you up ONE TIME to feed her. That, my friends, is happiness. For reals.

Weekly Mantra:

I’ve had this mantra around for a while. But after the Build-a-Bear experience from this weekend, it feels even more fitting than before.

Let’s make it a good week, friends. And for sure, pay it forward to a random stranger in some small way. Trust me. It will make someone’s day in a way that you just can’t imagine…. ♥ ♥
