This week we’re almost certainly going to struggle. Travelling is nice, but it takes a long time to get the kiddos back on schedule. That part suuuuucks.
I’m grateful to have spent a little time away. It was our version of a vacation this year. I mean, travelling with young kids isn’t easy… nor is it much fun. But I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to go and spend that time with Chad and the kids — and my parents!
I’m content with things. I know that’s totally lame and totally generalized… but I recognize that things haven’t exactly been easy as of late. And instead of dwelling on things that could totally be doing better (which, I acknowledge, there are plenty), I’m choosing to just be content with the chaos that is my life.
I wish and hope that our kiddos adjust back to our “normal schedule” as quickly as possible. Chad and I (half) joked on the way home… “Oh yay. Now we get to spend this week getting them back on a schedule.”
Happiness is feeling rested. What? It’s not like this is going to change. I straight up *miss* sleep!
