Weekly Mantra //

This week is a short work week. And my first “short week” at my new job! Lucky for me, it’s likely not to impact my ‘work flow,’ thanks to a set class schedule! However, I also have THREE doctors appointments this week. Three! That’s a lot of doctors to see in just four short days… and I’ll need my children to be champs. Fingers freakin’ crossed, man!

I’m grateful for the love and support that my friends and family have shown me when I needed it most. PS. I still need it. But the outpouring of support came from even more places than I anticipated. And I’ll be forever grateful. The calls, the texts, the messages.

I’m content with my weekend. We had a very chill, very family-friendly weekend. More on that soon, but yeah. I’m content with how we spent our long weekend. ♥

I wish (and hope) for some answers this week. When the doctor muttered the word “neurologist” last week, my heart skipped a few beats; however, my aunt assured me (she’s a doctor, not just a random person) that a neurologist was the logical next step, if the other test results are inconclusive.

Happiness is finishing season 8 of Grey’s Anatomy. Okay, okay. I know that it’s just a show. However, I find myself wondering how this show has gotten better than it was at it’s inception. Seriously. It’s such a great show.

Weekly Mantra:

staythecourse
Stay the course. This particular rings true for a special friend I’m thinking of today (and most days). She is the bomb. She, like myself, questions herself. But she should never, ever, apologize for being awesome. ♥ ♥ xo
