This week my only goal is to continue to adjust to life with a newborn AND a toddler. Honestly, the toddler portion of that equation is proving to be tougher than the newborn.
I’m grateful that my husband has taken a second week off of work to help continue to adjust to life with two babes! ♥
I’m content now that I’m not pregnant! GUYS! Holy smokes am I happy about that. I feel so much better now. The extra amniotic fluid I was carrying around with Remy Bea was incredibly painful.
I wish for Moosh to continue to adjust this week. Perhaps by sleeping in his own bed?? Ha. One can only wish!
Happiness is having a clean house and freshly painted fingernails WITH A NEWBORN! 🙂 Okay, so our house isn’t ‘clean,’ but it’s staying clean-ish. And I’m not even pushing myself to do it!
Mantra of the Week:
Amanda P.
My husband is planning to take some extra time off when our new baby arrives and I am SO grateful! Here’s hoping your second week as a mom of two goes smoothly!
Dawn
A) Good for you for not pushing yourself. You’re in rest, recovery, and survival mode. Now is the perfect time for “good enough” to *be* good enough! And B) there’s a time coming in the not too distant future that this will actually be the new normal and you’ll laugh to think it was ever any other way!
