Weekend plans = no plans. Perfection.

Isn’t it nice when you have no plans? Don’t get me wrong, I love being busy with family and friends, but sometimes it’s nice to just fly by the seat of your pants skinny jeans!

Well, we aren’t completely free from plans {let’s face it, I’m a planner} but we have zero commitments.

Hopefully tonight we will be going to get some dinner. I’m hoping for Cilantro in downtown Akron, but would honestly be just as happy going to my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Unfortunately our Saturday in Akron is looking to be a little gloomy. So perhaps we will end up at the theater to see Shrek Forever After*. And perhaps I might be about to tick you all off, but I am not real excited about seeing it. I saw the first Shrek and the second, but once a movie other than the Godfather, and even they shouldn’t have gone past the second, goes past one sequel, I become uninterested. {Wait, wait. I spoke too soon. Because I definitely want to see the 3rd Transformers movie. Don’t judge me. :P}

BF is the one who really wants to see the movie. I’d prefer to see something else, but such is love! …perhaps we will lessen the blow with some buttery, nasty, but oh-so-tasty, movie theater popcorn {Confession: We usually sneak healthy popcorn into the theater in my purse}. {Wait! Second Confession: It makes me happy that we do this and simultaneously breaks my heart cause I have a serious weakness for movie theater popcorn. Serious. Weakness.}

Anyways. Hopefully the sun will make an appearance for a bit this weekend. I’d really like to go for a nice, long, bike ride. A girl can dream…

Have a fabulous weekend, y’all!

*It turns out I almost called it “Shrek Forever” because I didn’t realize it was called “Shrek Forever After.” Also, I thought this was the 3rd movie until I was informed it was the 4th by BF. Shows how much I care about this movie.

    Movie popcorn is my fave! I haven't had any in months but I make popcorn at home all the time – pop it in the air popper and then put a lil butter and salt on it and its sooooo good!

    Have a great weekend! I didn't even know that there was a 4th Shrek movie coming out, so that shows how up-to-date I am. And I agree – once a movie has it's first sequel, I'm usually done!

    Weekends of nothing come along so few and far between. I really do hope you had time to be in the moment without worrying about Monday, or things that you need to do the next week.
