true story tuesday

This week I have skipped the gym two days. My body is just exhausted, but I still feel guilty and I’m pretty sure those 7 fun size Twix bars didn’t help.

True story.

I got my lovely apron in the mail on Saturday and proceeded to make two dozen cupcakes for work. If you haven’t, you should really check out this incredible Etsy shop.

True story.

Last night I went to the Blue Tusk with Tracy & Josh, whom I had never met before, and I had such a great time! And the food was delicious! A lobster BLT (minus the T, of course)! I will definitely eat there again.

True story.

I have the Junior League of Syracuse holiday party tonight! And I will be inducted as a new member tonight.

True story.

The party is being held at Pascale’s Wine Bar, so needless to say my dry spell at the gym will probably continue tomorrow morning.

True story.

I get to drive back to Ohio Thursday night to spend the weekend with BF! I’m really excited! It’s been 10 days too long!

True story.

I love the apron. Too cute.

If I hadn't known my sister wanted one for Christmas, I would be all over that store.

I know you feel guilty about skipping the gym, but I want you to know that you are making a very healthy decision, and your body will thank you for it. Rest and sleep are just as important as exercise. In the big scheme of things, 2 days of not working out will mean nothing. You are doing amazing, Rachel, I promise.

p.s. I just adore your new apron!
