true story… forgot my monday mantra.

I forgot to put up my Monday Mantra yesterday. True story.

This week is going to be difficult.
I believe I am strong…but I just need to remember that.
I’m addicted to love.
I wish it wasn’t going to be three weeks before I see him again…
I’m jealous of people with spare time.
Soundtrack/Mantra for the week: Breathe…

Also a true story?
I’m working my butt off at the gym just to keep myself busy.
I’m starting to feel ill and don’t know what my deal is.
I’ve got a Junior League meeting tonight and my body is telling me not to go, but, of course, I will.
I refuse to turn on the heat in my apartment because it shouldn’t be this cold out yet… so I’ve been sleeping in sweatpants, a huge sweatshirt and two comforters.
I am really struggling this week. I don’t know what my deal is, but I’m missing him like crazy and I cannot let myself start to cry… If I cry, I won’t stop.
True story.

Aw, sorry you're having a rough week doll! Keep your chin up and focus on taking care of yourself. I might suggest lots of tea, some gentle warming yoga, and chicken noodle soup. You'll get through it!

Big Hugs to you. I truly believe there is nothing harder to handle than a long distant relationship. You ARE strong and he IS worth it. Hang in there.

When all else fails, curl up on your couch, under a blanket, eat chicken noodle soup, and watch chick flicks so you can cry and let it out.

Awww… sending big hugs your way! Remember – distance makes the heart grow fonder! Not that, that helps any – but…. ;o) Glad you have something to keep you busy but sorry to hear that you are not feeling well at the same time. However, it could have something to do with refusing to turn on your heat! LOL Drink lots of OJ my friend! Big hugs! Trac~:o)

    (((HUGS)))

You know…you are so frequently jealous of people with free time. Maybe (and it's just a suggestion) it's an indication that you need to free up some time for yourself? We can get sucked up in plans & obligations & schedules to the point of running ourselves ragged. It's important to factor in free time, just like it's important to make “entertainment funds” part of your budget. You *need* these things; they're good for your soul.

I worry about you so much, Rachel! Have I told you that before? I admire you for all of your strength during this big change in your life. I would think that being away from the BF for any significant amount of time is difficult, and you're holding together so well. Just let yourself have a bad week and get back with it next week! πŸ™‚

Awww, Rachel. Hang in there…. I know how hard huge changes are, especially when you do them alone. πŸ™ Try to stay strong because it will end up being a good decision in the end. Hopefully bf will be able to be with you soon, and you're good at keeping yourself busy, too! Three weeks will fly by!

I'm so sorry you're having a difficult week so far. Maybe it seems worse because you aren't feeling well, too.

I hope that the time flies by so that you get to see BF again before you know it!

Plus, you must be in some rockin' shape if you go to the gym that much. So jealous of your motivation!

Hang in there. I had a long distance relationship with my then boyfriend, now fiance, for 3 years. We finally live in the same city and I can honestly say that those years apart, while exceedingly difficult, really brought us closer. We really learned to appreciate each other and it was wonderful to get that 'falling in love feeling' each time we saw each other. Hang in there. I promise it will be worth it in the end.
