transformers

I just woke up from a 2-hour nap. Why am I being such a lazy bum? Because last night BF and I went to see the 12:01 showing of the new Transformers movie! Knowing full well that I would be running on empty at work today, I went to the theater practically wearing pajamas. Of course there was a line when we arrived. And, of course, I have some anxiety over crowds (note: not in a weird “I can’t be in public” kind of way, but in a “crowds of rude people make me sad/upset at the state of our society and have anxiety over it” kind of way. More to come on this in another post, I’m sure). I guess I shouldn’t have been too surprised, but I was pretty much the only person dressed like that. Not that I cared. But why did people dress up to go see a midnight showing of Transformers 2? Umm??

Anyways… the movie was incredible! BF thinks it was better than the first, and I agree! The first was so good, but this is even better! It was long. Really long. Definitely lasted two and a half hours. Definitely didn’t get to sleep until after 3:15 this morning. And definitely hit up Starbucks before work (and during my lunch break).

I had never gone to a midnight showing of any movie before. Might I be a nerd for doing so? Sure. But it was completely worth it. Now everyone go see it and tell me what you think! 🙂

I love midnight showings. My best friend and I are going to buy tickets to go see Harry Potter 6 at midnight when it comes out.
