I have a confession. I make tacos. Like, a LOT. I make tacos at least once a week. While I’m team “tacos are never boring,” my husband would likely disagree. But I’m okay with switching things up a bit. And one of my favorite ways to switch up taco Tuesday is by making homemade taco bowls out of soft flour tortillas. It will seriously step up your tortilla taco bowl recipe!
What you’ll need
This is such an easy way to get crispy, delicious taco bowls. You’ll never want to buy store bought crunchy taco shells again! Hopefully by this point you have invested in an air fryer like this one. You’ll also want to get burrito-sized tortillas, not taco sized ones. That way they are big enough to form a bowl. Besides that, grab some spray (we prefer this avocado spray), and that’s it!

Air Fryer Tortilla Taco Bowl
Ingredients
- Tortilla, burrito-size
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
INGREDIENTS FOR TACO BOWL
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Place a large bowl in the air fryer basket.
- Spray a tortilla with cooking spray and place it inside the bowl molding it to the bowl. Allow for folds.
- Place a smaller mixing bowl on top of the tortilla to sandwich it between the bowls.
- Cook on 375 for 7-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Let cool before removing the tortilla.
- Repeat for as many bowls as you need.
- ENJOY with your favorite taco bowl ingredients!
