So this is being a housewife.*

I’m generally a morning person, but lately I’ve been finding it hard to get out of bed before 9am.
The only reason I get out of bed before then is to go to a 9:15 morning Vinyasa yoga class. I am the only one that goes who is: a) not a student on summer break; b) unmarried; or c) not a stay at home mom.

After my morning yoga class I find myself wandering around stores. Really any kind of store. Target, grocery store, the other grocery store, World Market, etc.

I used to buy one bottle of wine at a time. I would buy a bottle, and then drink it. Now, mostly due to my wandering around stores comparing prices and such I have stocked up on over a dozen different bottles.

I guess it’s a good thing I’m not drinking them. I like to think that I’m saving them for a rainy day.

That being said, a glass of wine at 5, while waiting for BF to get home, isn’t such a bad idea now and then.

I make dinner {shock! – just in general} closer to lunch time instead of dinner time.
Making dinner early really breaks up the part of my day spent cleaning and doing laundry and then the part where I do dishes.

A girl can only talk to dogs for so long each day before going insane.

*Obviously I’m kidding {mostly}. Just wanted to clarify that.

I've been there, sweetheart. Sometimes it's rough. Only when I did it, I didn't even have dogs to talk to….I just talked to Dr.Phil while he was on TV! 🙂 The idea of a routine is really good, that was one thing I didn't have, and I got depressed and ended up sleeping in super late because I had nothing to do and I gained a bunch of weight, too. Keep exercising and stay positive!

Oh girl, at least you have dogs. I have… a TV. That doesn't even get cable currently. Fun fun, let me tell ya.

Things will change for you soon! 🙂

Rachel, our lives are practically identical right now! My life has changed as dramatically as yours since I moved to Boston. It's weird not going into work, isn't it?!?

It's good that you're going to Yoga class. I've been running in the morning and trying to take walks. Gotta do something, right? I went into Saks yesterday just for the heck of it and had to leave because it made me sad.

I think things will get better…we just have to be patient (as I type this I'm talking to myself, too) 🙂 Just wanted to let you know you're not alone. At least we're both now living in the same vicinity as our significant others.

Sometimes I want that life, but whenever I do have off in the summer I get bored. What's on your agenda, are you looking for a job?

Oh my gosh, I can TOTALLY relate! When we moved to South Bend and I was looking for a job, I found that getting out of bed before 9am was so difficult. It was ridiculous. Even now, I've found that I have lots of free time and what do I do? Sleep in, surf the web, and generally be a lazy bum (I give myself the excuse that I'm living a hotel room and can't really do cleaning or cooking… but it's still an excuse!). I find that I'm much more productive when I actually have less time to do stuff, which is weird.

I wish I could get my booty out of bed for something productive like yoga! My lil' dude wakes me up around 8 and I can't even think about working out. Gotta work on that. HA!

*wonders if she'll ever know the meaning of the phrase…a glass of wine*

I have a dozen wine bottles myself. only, mine are all empty. And, recently purchased. Break ups make me drink…yea, thats it.

I kinda feel like that right now too – I have been doing all kinds of weird projects and watching too much TV but I'll be starting school in a week so that will cut down on my free time…..lol
