We are just two weeks out from Akron’s most exciting event of the year — the 18th Annual Red + White On Thursday Night, presented by Akron General.

Chad + I have had the honor of attending for the last several years. And it is, by far, one of the highlights of our year! Bonus? It benefits an amazing cause — the Arthritis Foundation of Northeast Ohio!

The 18th annual Red & White on Thursday Night event – presented by Akron General – Akron’s signature social and culinary evening.  Enjoy delicious signature samplings from the area’s finest restaurants and tastings from international wineries.  Along with the chef-inspired food, highlights of the event include the VIP Lounge, silent and live auctions, raffles and more.  Event proceeds support the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to find a cure for arthritis, the nation’s #1 cause of disability.

Last years event was amazing! We have been talking about it ever since — no exaggeration. Seriously . Chad and I talk about it all of the time. You can read my recap of last years event here. The restaurants and wine distributors were just plain awesome — both in quality of product and fun people! Heck – Chad even met a chiropractor at the event in the VIP lounge, who he ended up seeing at their practice for months and months there after!

Beyond excited for the food! I’m not going to lie, I have no idea which wine distributors distribute what wine; but every distributor I’ve come into contact with at Red + White has told me which wines to try and has given me a generous pour. 😉

I am counting down the days until the 29th! In fact, I’m getting out of work early that day JUST so I can get all dolled up for this years event!
