One of my most dreaded daily tasks is coming up with fun and creative ways to feed my family. Kids seem to either want to eat all of the things or none of the things. There is no in between whatsoever. One of the tricks I use to feed my kids is to make mealtime fun. Honestly, that usually means the simpler the idea, the more they will eat it. And it’s no exception with these super easy and fun pretzel ham and cheese kabobs!
What you’ll need to make these Pretzel Ham and Cheese Kabobs
I know it seems silly simple — and it is! It’s supposed to be that way! Kids don’t want some crazy bento box (despite even my greatest attempts to get them on board). They want simple and fun. Period.
For this particular fun lunch idea, you’ll need the following:
- Your favorite pretzel sticks (I get these on amazon).
- Thick cut deli ham.
- A couple of slices of thick cut colby jack cheese.
That’s it! See, just stick to the simple things and I promise your kids will love this.
