planning + birthdays.

This weekend was laid back. And that was pretty much what we needed.

We are planning a post-elopement reception in early July and, to be honest, up until this weekend we had done nothing to plan it, short of booking the reception hall.

So… Less than two months + a 19-weeks pregnant new wife = not at all prepared newlyweds.

This weekend the only thing on my radar was wedding reception planning.

And my husbands birthday. Which was today.

We celebrated with a very-low key lunch at his my favorite Thai restaurant and a trip to the outlet mall for some Harry & David Pears {have you ever had Harry & David pears!? They are to DIE for. Seriously. Love them. And call it a pregnancy craving, but I had to have them.}

That was really the extent of our weekend.

How was your weekend?

    Our weekend was good! And Happy Mother’s Day to you – even though your little one hasn’t made an outside appearance yet, you’re still very much a mom 🙂

    My weekend was pretty chill as well. We took our boat out on Friday, garage sales on Saturday and time with family on Sunday. I’m hoping next weekend I can squeeze in more sleeping in 🙂
