So I warned you we had been busy lately.
This post is about a month or so too late.
Oops. Better late than never!

Two years ago the BF and I took a trip to Pittsburgh
just so that we could go to Primanti Brothers
to try their ginormous sammiches.
They were well worth the trip,
even though my stomach would argue otherwise.
This year we decided to do a little more exploring through
our rival city
Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh.
On Segways.
Yes, Segways.
We took a 2-hour guided Segway tour of downtown Pittsburgh.
It was so much fun and I learned a lot about the city!
It was so much fun and I learned a lot about the city!
And two hours was just enough time;
cause when I was done, my legs were killing me
from standing on that thing!
{Note: I only fell off once.
Lucky for you, the BF caught it on video.
Lucky for me, I control this blog and will not post that video 😛 }
In a little Pittsburgh mini-tradition for us,
we decided to give Primanti Brothers another shot post-segway-ing.
{I say that like it was awful the first time… it wasn’t. it was amazing.}

{equally as excited in 2011 as I was in 2009} |

We wrapped up round 2 of our Pittsburgh adventure
with a 90-minute trip to Ikea
{which is literally an adventure in itself}.
Pittsburgh = success!
We make a trip to Pittsburgh about once a year. For no particular reason but it always seems to involve a trip to Ikea
I adore Pittsburgh. My mom grew up outside the city and I've loved it since I was little. We like going to Station Square, the strip district and South Side shops. And the food there is beyond amazing!!!!
For living in PA a majority of my life, I have never been to Pittsburgh…I need to get my butt out there.
