Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas! You would think that Christmas with a newborn would be boring, but it wasn’t.
Ari is so alert and aware of everything these days. I mean, yes, we still had to open his presents for him. And, yes, I knew what many of them were. But our first Christmas as a family of three was just perfect.
I know it’s cheesy to say that this was our ‘best Christmas yet,’ but as someone who could’ve done without this holiday in years past, I now totally get why Christmas is so much fun for parents.
I can’t wait to see our little guys face light up next year! But for now we’ll be soaking up these last few days of visiting with Ari’s Mimi + Papi [my mom and dad] in Kentucky. <3

I could only imagine the different feeling the holidays bring now that you’re a parent.
I definitely think Christmas was better this year with a little one. I can see it only getting better as they get more into it!
