I keep talking about how crazy busy life is and about how much anxiety I have over everything — especially these next few months.
Yet I haven’t given myself a second to breathe, or to truly be present.
I am putting all of this pressure on myself to do it all — work 50 + hour work weeks, keep up on housework, keep up on reading (books + blogs), fit in some exercise, prep for Baby L — and I just can’t keep up with it. There. I said it.
So these next couple of weeks I’m going to slow down. I’m going to take a deep breath, focus on what’s in front of me on that particular day, and come back refreshed and a little less stressed.
This means more yoga + more time coming out from behind my computer + more time with family and friends.
So things may not be as active around here or on twitter. I’ll still be here, but I won’t be over-indulging in these vices. ๐
Have you ever had to remind yourself to slow down and really take in everything around you?

I’m glad that you’re taking some time to relax and slow down. As my midwife told me in my last trimester, “It’s not just about being ready to give birth. It’s about being ready for what comes after.” So true. Come back when you’re ready!

Hope you’re able to take lots of moments to just breathe deeply, smile lots, and indulge in the things that make you happy and relaxed! ๐
