How far along? 36 weeks + 4 days.
How big is the baby? According to WhatToExpect.com, Baby Boy is about 6 pounds and 20 inches long.
Total weight gain? Well I’m up 2 pounds since my last appointment two weeks ago, so that brings my total to 35 pounds.
Stretch marks? Just the same amount from last week.
Sleep: Not sleeping at all. It’s OK though. I’m trying. But I pee about 4 times a night and I just can’t stay asleep.
Movements: The other night I was in the car driving home from work and I felt something hard under my rib cage so I pushed on it and I could totally feel his foot! It was so amazing. I couldn’t wait to get home so that Chad could feel it, too! And still lots of hiccups.
Food cravings: None.
Food aversions: Grilled chicken.
What I miss: Still just feeling pretty and feeling like myself. I’ve been crying a lot this week, and it’s been mostly uncontrollable. But if you asked me why, I couldn’t exactly tell ya. I just don’t feel like myself. My hormones feel like they are going insane and all I want to do is sleep and cry. But I’m still in no hurry for baby boy to make his appearance. Just juggling the day-to-day life with pregnancy hormones for now.
What I’m looking forward to: Chad and I are going to spend some much needed couple time together this weekend. I think we’re going to go apple picking and hopefully just get things more ready around the house. And I’m definitely looking forward our 37 week appointment next week. 🙂
Other notes: Not only did I have my 36 week appointment this week, but I had my very first ever chiropractor appointment. I’ve always had hip alignment issues, so I’ve been wanting to get my hips realigned by a chiropractor for a while now. Especially important for labor and delivery.
And we had a potluck lunch yesterday at work, which ended up being a surprise baby shower from my co-workers! It seriously took me forever to pick up on what they were talking about when they were trying to break the news to me, so to say I was surprised was an understatement! 🙂 So sweet!
How adorable that they threw you a surprise shower! You still look amazing!!!!!! Don’t let anyone tell you anything different 🙂

Ha! I remember feeling Blake’s whole foot and his bootie once. I too was in my car…which is always where I felt the most movements. Ah…those are the little things I miss about pregnancy. But the peeing every 4 hours and the raging hormones? Those I don’t miss. Ha! But you look ADORABLE as always my dear!! It is getting so close now…I’m dying!! And I still have a package to mail to you. I may just wait till he gets here at this point. That way I can slip in a little extra treat for you 🙂
