How far along? 25 weeks + 1 day.
How big is the baby? Baby L is between 13.6 to 14.8 inches long and weighs between 1.5 to 2.5 pounds! As big as a cauliflower {which is weird}.
Total weight gain? I got an accurate weight gain total from my doctors appointment on Thursday, and the total is 12 pounds! Not bad, considering I’m in month 6 {of ten total} of pregnancy! Craziness!
Stretch Marks? None yet.
Sleep: I’ve been sleeping okay considering I’m getting up to pee about 2-times a night.
Movement: Baby L is still very, very, active. And yesterday I think I felt hiccups for the first time! I can’t be sure, but if I had to describe the feeling, that’s the closest thing I can think of.
Food cravings: Enter the week of ice cream. Seriously. I think I’ve had a few bites of ice cream every single night in the last 10 days. ๐ But besides that, more beef, root beer, and cheese.
Food aversions: Still chicken. Gross!
What I miss: Being able to easily shave my legs and wash my feet. Seriously. It’s increasingly difficult to reach my feet & shave my legs. Who would’ve thought — already!?
Milestones: We’ve already picked a hospital, started to solidify our birth plan, and got our stroller! ๐
Other pregnancy notes: I’m achy. I know yesterday I talked about how I have a horrible knot in my back {and how I don’t believe it’s pregnancy related} but having a big belly and being super aware of the fact that my body isn’t entirely my own right now, has really limited our abilities to get this knot and pain out of my back! It’s isolated in my middle left side of my spine. Super tight knot. Any suggestions on how to get a knot out? ๐
OK, a couple more belly shots …
Julie
For some odd reason, I love when people compare to the food because it actually does kinda put it into perspective of “oh my gosh its this big inside of me”. I’m glad things are still going well!
