This week has been weird. Since getting out of the first trimester, and really past week 9, my hormones had “leveled out.”
Or so I thought.
Until this week.
I’ve been nothing short of an emotional disaster.
Case in point: yesterday I heard a Home Depot commercial on the radio. All I caught was “that’s the power of the Home Depot.”
And. I. LOST IT. Like, full on bawling.
No idea why.
Sigh. It can only be chalked up to the fun roller coaster of pregnancy hormones.
But I’ve acknowledged that this is all part of my pregnancy journey. Hopefully my emotions plateau again soon.
Oh, and I’m officially 22 weeks + 3 days! Baby L is the size of a mango! Between 10.5 and 11.8 inches and about 12.7 to 20.8 ounces {which we know Baby L weighed about 14 ounces a week from today!}.
i can’t imagine pregnancy hormones, period hormones are bad enough!!! hopefully they level out for you!
Our daughter is seven now, but I remember the pregnancy like it was yesterday. And yeah, you’ll have some hormonal moments. LOL. But enjoy every minute of the pregnancy like you’re doing. It will be the fastest 9-10 months that you’ll encounter. You blink and you’ll be giving birth.
I’d suggest your hubby read “The Expectant Father.” And excellent resource for the soon-to-be dads out there.
Have a nice weekend.
Glad it’s all going well besides the hormones! 🙂
Congrats Rachel on the awesome news. I hope you are feeling well! I am, but can’t believe I have a little less than three months to go. I am huge!
