drink NOOMA // Giveaway + Review

I remember being a young girl, playing soccer, and drinking sips of my dads Gatorade. Even at that age, I knew it didn’t agree with me. We didn’t drink sugary drinks like soda at home (or ever, really). The sips of the sports drinks that I would occasionally take disgusted me. To this day it baffles me that people drink that stuff. It immediately gives me a stomach ache. So I’ve been quite skeptical of electrolyte replacement drinks.

Just over a year ago I tried NOOMA for the first time at the Believe In CLE Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event. With skepticism and hesitation, I took a sip… and I loved it!

NOOMA NOOMA
was developed by two brothers in Cleveland, Brandon and Jarred. Their mission was to develop a hydration drink without acid or preservatives.

Here’s a bit from their website that really sums up the NOOMA mission and values:

Along the way the team began to realize what they were building was more than just a drink. It was a lifestyle. Wellness, balance, fitness and passion for what you love, became the foundations of NOOMA and what was truly important. Giving back also took on more importance to the team, lending their time, knowledge, resources and, of course, drinks to various organizations including The Boys and Girls Foundation, food banks, local schools and the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

NOOMACLE
My personal experience with NOOMA is that I can drink it during a power vinyasa yoga practice or after a long run on the Towpath and it’s completely gentle on my digestive system. It hydrates and provides the much needed lost electrolyte replacement from my workout.

NOOMAflavors
All 4 of their flavors are free of GMOs, preservatives, acids, artificial colors and sweeteners! They are vegan and contain just a tiny 10 calories and 2 grams of natural cane sugar. It’s the perfect blend of gentle flavors and replenishment!

I generally just drink water, but for long workouts I use Hammer Heed. But I’m always looking for new ways to hydrate!
