my promise.

I have been absent from blogs & blog reading a lot lately. Not something I’m proud of, but it’s the way it is… Work and some various other things have been keeping me crazy busy lately.

Here’s a short list of things that have been occupying my time as of late:

1. Work. Isn’t it a bummer that work interferes with blogging & reading?

2. Not going to the gym. But instead going to bunches of doctors appointments where they forbid me from exercising.

3. The Junior League of Syracuse. I just started a Twitter account for JLS and am now active on both the New Member Committee & PR Committee. I’m very excited!

4. Sleeping. My body has been craving sleep lately. Dawn tells me I should listen to my body. I listen to Dawn. So I have been sleeping.

5. Looking for a new apartment. I know, I know. I love my apartment, but I’m just preparing for some changes, that’s all.

6. Cutting coupons. I love it. Don’t judge.

7. Getting an abundance of takeout. Which is surprising considering I have an apartment full of food. Hmph.

8. Reading. Book club meets next Wednesday, and I’m only a quarter of the way through the book. So far it’s good, I just don’t have the time or energy it seems.

9. Stressing. I stress a lot. My job stresses me a lot. Thinking stresses me a lot. Thinking about money stresses me out even more. Sigh.

So, needless to say, I’m ready for this weekend. and today is my Friday. Crossing my fingers for good driving weather today. I promise to be a better blogger soon.

Promise.

Seems like we've all been apologizing a lot lately for our lack of blogging…and I've said this to everyone–it's your blog, so there aren't any rules. You can post what you want when you want, and those who love you will still be here!

    Safe travels this weekend….

PS: Are you looking for a new apt because you're hoping that BF is coming out soon?? Exciting!

Actually, sometimes not blogging consistently can be a good thing. You're busy 🙂 Sometimes I feel like I blog all of the time when I'm bored and have nothing else to do. Makes me feel like a loser.

Have a good weekend! Are you with your BF this weekend?

Good for you for taking a break and getting that sleep.

I hope the doctors telling you not to work out is short lived.

It's good to listen to your body and I always listen to my body when it tells me to sleep..lol 🙂

Hope you feel better girl, and hope that the new apartment hunt means that BF will be coming soon!

Definitely sleep. Even Jillian Michaels (of “Biggest Loser” fame) has said that she'll skip a work out if she's sleep deprived. Sleep is *that* important to health and weight loss.

And blogging? It's gravy. Icing, if you will. Sometimes life gets in the way, as it does with so many other things. It'll be here when you're ready.
