What a weekend! I had so much fun, but honestly, it’s nice to have the week back so I can relax a little. Backwards, right? Well, this week I have nothing planned for my weekdays except work and working out! Perfect!

I spent this weekend exactly as I had anticipated: with friends, fun with a little bit of beer and a few vegan desserts mixed in.

Saturday I went to the vegan bake sale to purchase some delicious vegan/gluten-free desserts and also to support the relief efforts in Japan {read all about the bake sale here!}

On our pottery girl-date, we took 2 hours painting our masterpieces! Ha! But we had a blast.
Here’s a sneak-peak at my two plates, pre-kiln:
Took probably as long as you’d imagine…
On to this weeks Monday Mantra!
This week I hope to just breathe, smile, and survive.
Because that’s really all I need!
I believe that I can handle anything this week throws at me.
I’m addicted to food. Seriously. I couldn’t eat enough food this weekend!
I wish for sleep, energy & positive vibes for an awesome week.
I’m jealous of nothing and no one.
Soundtrack/Mantra for the week: “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” — C.S. Lewis

    I've been super into eating and cooking as well, but I hardly have time to cook with this new job.
