My mind is straight up mush tonight. We’ve had a whirlwind of a week (and weekend) and I’m just plain ol’ exhausted! I had planned on getting a lot of work done this holiday weekend, but instead I just embraced the moment and kept my laptop shut.

While I’m getting us back into a routine, here are a few photos from our crazy, fun, and exhausting weekend:

Happy Monday, friends! xo

I DO have lots of awesome to spread this week…I hadn’t thought of it, but that’s a mantra and down to co-sign with and I’m feeling like I should! I too am also exhausted, so I might spread it later in the week…but I’m determined now, LOL!

I hear you. When I have an extra day on a holiday weekend, I get giddy with thinking about how much I can accomplish, but then reality hits and I realize that my family actually wants me to spend time with them since it’s, you know, a holiday. ha! I struggle with the frustration of my plans being thwarted by my family, but I’ve never regretted making the choice to put my plans for work aside and make memories instead. Looks like you made some great memories this weekend as well:) Good for you!

I hear you! Long weekends are always daunting for me because I like to jam pack as much as possible in them. When all is said and done, I’m exhausted! no relaxing ever happens for me LOL.

This was the first day I’ve had all 3 boys home for summer and we stayed in our Pj’s all day and had not a care in the world. It was awesome! We will be getting out and doing activities, but for today, it was pretty great just being.
