Meeting Our Milestones With Little Tikes //

Getting excited over seemingly ‘small’ milestones was something I laughed at before having kids. But now? Now I rejoice in watching my kids grow and learn new things. Every parent does! And it’s totally NOT silly!

Newborns grow and learn at such a rapid pace, it seems as if they’re developing and hitting major milestones weekly! It’s awesome to see Remy conquer her sensory milestones with the help of Little Tikes!

Little Tikes just came into the baby-toy market, full-throttle, with their new line of newborn toys designed to specifically target developmental needs, while also soothing, stimulating, and strengthening baby!

The line of Little Tikes newborn products all find a way to engage the baby in creative and sensory play. The Hide ‘n Seek Hermie (pictured above right) is attached to Remy’s car seat carrier and is helping her to track the Hermie with her eyes when she pulls at the end! The Shake ‘n Rattle Crabbie is not only helping her to work on her grip, but it’s also filled with colorful beads that she watches as it shakes!

I took them with us on a recent outing to Café O’Play so Remy would be occupied as her brother got some energy out. And girlfriend loves her Crabbie!

And I love that these toys are not only helping her hit her developmental milestones, but it helps me to actually see her sensory skills in action.

I’ll admit, I was a bit clueless with Ari when it came to these things. But now that I’m with the kiddos 24/7 (and they are not with a child care provider), I’m happy to be taking a much more active role in these little milestones. We were lucky with Ari because our sitter was very good about making sure he had plenty of sensory play; but now that my primary role is to ensure this play occurs, Little Tikes is helping to ease any concerns I might have!
