Hooray for a permanent schedule change, friends! I’m so grateful to not be jumping back and forth between 2-11PM and 8AM-5PM. Cause that was rough… So far, I’m loving having the mornings to spend with Babycakes (even if we are still in an adjustment period!).
Here’s my life in a nutshell lately:
…. Wee Tumblers class. Which really just means Ari runs around the gym while other kids follow directions. But it burns tons of this kiddos energy, so that’s all that matters.
… Story time at the library. It consists of a few fun singing activities and 2 stories. And then? Bubbles. All of the kids love the bubbles!
… Teething. Oh dear sweet baby Jesus… We need these molars to cut through. Cause I can’t handle these 3am & 6am wake up calls for 1.5 – 2 hours at a time. And on top of it all? Ari has/had some sort of nasty virus that was causing him to hold a fever for six days… that’s right SIX DAYS! The scariest of days was a 103.2 degree fever. Luckily we had our first fever-free night last night! Yay!
… Cleaning the house. Well, trying to! Throughout the craziness of schedule changes, teething, illness, and plain ol’ exhaustion, we’ve still managed to keep up on (most) household chores. I’m still trying to figure out how to learn to love doing laundry. Ugh. I hate laundry!
… I was featured on the first edition of #WIWIW (Why I Love It Wednesday) for the Lululemon Athletica Akron Showroom Facebook page! I’m incredibly excited that Lululemon is coming to Akron and that my lovely friend Gretchen is running the store! The showroom will be a great asset to have for the local running and yoga community. But in general it’s a great company to have representing the Rubber City!
… I cooked. This is a pretty big deal, y’all. It’s no secret that my idea of cooking a balanced meal is picking up sushi takeout. So I realize I’m not exactly trusted in our kitchen. But I got the approval of my Top Chef husband! — VICTORY!! So I’ll be sharing the recipe on the blog soon!
I think it’s safe to say my life is incredibly exciting — ha! 🙂 But nonetheless, I love it. Every single second of it. I love that I have a house to clean; I love that I have meals to make for people I love; I love that I have a baby to provide for; and I love that I live in a community full of awesome people and events.
😉

My best tips for the laundry are to get a multiple-basket bin. We have one with 4 bins so we designate each bin to a specific color or type of clothing. Then if you can do 1 load a day. I just pick whichever bin is most full. It helps a lot!
