life just gets crazy.

It’s true. Sometimes life just gets going out of control and you start to feel overwhelmed and all you want to do is sleep.

That’s how I’m feeling at the moment. BF and I had an awesome week last week. I’m not certain why it was particularly awesome… I mean, we didn’t do anything extraordinary, but we fell into a routine.

And I LOVE routine. No joke.

And this weekend was amazing. Again, we didn’t do anything spectacular, but it was the first weekend we’ve had in a while where we just spent time together. Granted, some of that time was forced {we were FAR too tired to do anything on Friday, thanks to BF having to work for pretty much 24-hours straight, so we were asleep by 7pm}, but it was all wonderful.

Saturday we slept in late, went for a run, took the dogs to the dog park, went to get some dinner at MetroBurger, and watched Paper Heart. It was… incredible!

Today we:
– woke up,
– fulfilled some light household duties {I definitely planned on doing more, but that didn’t happen and I’m just gonna go with it and not stress},
– went to see the Sorcerers Apprentice with our super-cheap, almost-a-steal, movie passes {aren’t things better when you feel like you’re getting an awesome deal?? YES!},
– met my parents for dinner at Yours Truly,
– and did some yummy shopping at Trader Joes.

Not a bad weekend, if I do say so myself!

Let’s hope this positivity leaks over to my Monday!

PS. Keep an eye out this week for a giveaway that will be starting!

Sounds like a fantabulous weekend 🙂 I think that some of my favorite weekends are the ones where we're just bumming around, taking it easy!
