Getting creative.

Last night I had an excellent time with my aunts & cousin. We went to a pottery painting place, which was so much fun. When I lived in Syracuse, NY I used to go to this one place all the time. Whenever I was feeling low or like I needed to let out some creative energy, I would paint “masterpieces,” …. or chip & dip bowls. LOL. I was really struggling. I wasn’t feeling very creative tonight. And, what is usually a solitary experience, was much different. My family is VERY loud and VERY Italian. But the ladies who owned the shop were fantastic and really sparked some creative energy into me! So, needless to say, I’m pretty sure I created the MOST awesome spoon rest of all time. 😉

This morning I went to a 9:30 yoga class. I was joined by my aunt Denise and my cousin Chrissy. I was so pumped to have people join me. Until recent, I had been unsuccessful at getting anyone to join me in this AMAZING experience! We had a great practice today. I feel good… minus the normal yoga aches and pains. I am going to need a serious massage later!

So I’m gonna finish up my taxes today (hopefully), run a couple of errands, and then go to see BF. We are going to make pulled pork! We are both pretty big fans of the pulled pork sandwich. Brings back a couple of first date memories too.

Rach, I would love to be a fly on a wall when you, Denise, and Chrissy are doing anything, much less pottery and yoga. It must be quite an event. I was amused at your description of the Sanelli’s as “loud” – that is selling them short, and they’re already short. Loud does not do them justice – it’s like calling a rock concert “a bit noisy.” Btw, my lower back still kills from yoga, not sure I’m going back…yeah, I’m a wussie. Vince could tell you that much!
