Friday Introduction //

Oh, hi! Since we’ve recently entered a whole new year, I figured I’d take a few minutes out of your Friday to introduce myself!

1.  I am a chronic oversharer — both online and IRL. I can’t help it.

2.  As much of a social butterfly that I am, I also crave doing things alone — like eating at restaurants, sitting in coffee shops, shopping, etc. I love being alone!

3.  I call myself a SAHM, but in reality, I’m a ‘work-with-my-kids’ mom. Meaning, I work outside of the home about 18-22 hours a week, but my children are there with me the whole time. Yep, a bit of an interesting dynamic. They are with me because I work in childcare at our YMCA, where I also work as a gymnastics coach and cycling instructor.

4.  My guilty pleasure is The Bachelor and all the Bravo reality shows.

5.  If given the opportunity to vacation at either the ocean or in the mountains, I’d choose the mountains 100% of the time.

6.  My husband and I eloped in Portland, Maine almost 6 years ago. And I don’t regret choosing to elope over a big wedding, at all.

7.  I am an alum of Syracuse University and I miss Syracuse every single day, but I never stepped foot into a Syracuse sporting event until after I graduated. I was just too busy with real-life to have time for that I guess?

8.  I have two kids — Ari, age 5, and Remy Bea, age (almost) 2 — with one on the way (due June 2018)! Which is weird because, pre-babies, I never wanted to have kids. But I LOVE being a mom!

9.  I love coffee, craft beer, donuts, and checking out all the amazing local foodie locations.

Nine seems like a good place to stop! 🙂 I hope you’ll follow along with this circus and see where this crazy life leads us! ♥ ♥

I’d always choose the mountains, too – & I didn’t know you were a Bachelor fan! I sorrrrrt of love it.

What an interesting list. I sometimes wonder if my alone time compels me to overshare sometimes? Maybe that is something we have in common? 🙂

I’m planning to be a “work with my kids” mom–first baby due in a month and a half, because I also work in childcare! I figure it’ll be a matter of bring baby along with me. My parents eloped, and they highly recommend it to all their children, I think largely because of the cost savings, ha!

We basically LIVE at the YMCA, so that’s super cool that you can bring the kids!! Also we could be TV best friends because Bach and Bravo are my JAMS 😉

That’s so cool that you eloped. We’re wedding photographers and that is what we would do too! Yay for craft beer and donuts!
