It’s Friday! Woo hoo! I’ve made it through this week (ehh, sorta – still have 8.5 hours to go until the weekend). It’s been a rough one. I’ve had some major ups and downs this week at work. And, per my previous ‘advice’ post, in my personal life as well.
Speaking of the advice post, the reason for the two dresses: There is just a little time in between the ceremony and the reception; the ceremony is at 1pm and the reception is ‘to follow’; a part of me wants to wear a ‘daytime dress’ (the blue/white one – with a pink belt!) and an ‘evening’ dress (the black one) – does this seem silly? I also think you should have a little more background about the wedding. The bride is my college roommate. Everyone of my old friends (who I rarely speak to) will be there. The bride is having a massive (I mean, truly massive) wedding. I doubt I will ever see another wedding like this. On the website for her wedding there is a section about parking that reads as follows:
As stated on the invitations there will be no parking at the site of the reception. You are asked to please park at the {Insert huge company that her family owns here} located at 1234 Mansion Avenue {yes, Mansion Ave}. The reason for this is because there is not enough space to accommodate all guests. There will be little to no exceptions pertaining to the parking. If you do need assistance or handicap access to the site there will be limited vouchers that you will need to contact us to obtain. If you do not have a voucher and your name is not on the list you will not be allowed to access the road. The transportation to and from the {insert huge company here} will be shuttle buses and they will egin running at 2:00PM.
So, obviously, this is not your regular wedding. This is another reason I’m thinking of two dresses. BF and I will be checking into our hotel after the ceremony (that’s the only time we can, really), so I would have time to change if I feel inclined to do so.
Does this change anyone’s views on the two dress debate?
Well, it is Friday. So here is this weeks edition of the Friday 5. This one is a little different. It’s Scattergories style so I used the random letter generator. Check it out:
1. What random letter was generated by the online random letter generator (this does not count for your one of your five questions)? S
2. With what famous person, whose name begins with the letter in question #1, would you most like to be stuck on a desert island? Sarah Silverman. She is hilarious. At least I would be entertained, right?
3. What food item, whose name begins with the letter in question #1, can always be found in your pantry? Salsa. I sometimes have huge chips and salsa cravings. Must be on hand.
4. What song, whose title begins with the letter in question #1, always makes you feel good? Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon. Reminds me of my yoga practice {yes they play this at yoga}.
5. What is your least-favorite film whose title begins with the letter in question #1? Saving Silverman. I really hate that movie and now that I thought of Sarah Silverman I can’t think of any other movie titles with S that I really hate. LOL.
6. What unusual animal, whose name begins with the letter in question #1, would be a fun pet? Sloth. Ok, it wouldn’t really be a cool pet, but I didn’t want to say snake. Gross!!
{Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! I’ll be busy with baseball, hamburgers, yoga and sleep! I’ll explain more later!}

My roommate used to watch Saving Silverman repeatedly, I hate that movie too! It just always sort of grated on me.
