farewell, weekend!

How quickly they come and go!

My weekend looked a little like this:

  • Relaxing night in Friday.
    Me, Chad, the pups, and a movie.
    Perfect way to end the work week.
    Especially when I fall asleep on the couch at 8PM. Just what I needed!
  • Saturday morning randoms.
    Had to be on a conference call;
    scrub the house from top to bottom (literally);
    and run a few errands.
    The errands appear to never stop. Ever. Grr.
  • Went to a cooking class at Loretta Paganini School of Cooking
    in Chesterland, Ohio.
    The class was “Cooking with a Partner: A Thai Adventure!
    It was our first cooking class. We’ve been meaning to try it for a long time.
    So my parents gave us this class as a Christmas present last year.

    Chad's perfectly wrapped Spring Roll.

    It was really fun, but a bit on the long side.
    By the time we were ready to try all of our food,
    we were exhausted. And it was pushing 9PM.
    (which is, obviously, way past my bed time! ha)

  • Stopped by a family party Saturday night.
    My mom and dad came into town from Kentucky,
    and my sister drove up from Columbus,
    so we had a little family get together to celebrate!
  • Spent Sunday with my sister and parents.
    Isn’t that what Sundays were made for? I believe so.
    That, and not getting out of your pajamas.

    I spent all day Saturday with my family and it was just what I needed. Today was full of house projects, errands and spending a few hours on the porch with a couple beers watching deer play. I’m always sad to see the weekend go but now that I have a job I like, going back to work isn’t so horrible 🙂
