Fall is for football!

So I have already “failed” at one of my goals. And by “failed” I mean altered.

We decided against going to the Akron vs. Syracuse game this weekend. There was a chance for rain and it was suppose to be pretty windy.

However, Thursday night we accepted an invite to go to the last preseason game of the Cleveland Browns. They played the Chicago Bears. We had a blast!

We had Legends Club tickets and great seats. And if we hadn’t had to wait 2+ hours in traffic beforehand, it would have been an excellent experience. But… we did. That was the only less-than-awesome part of the night!

It was my first game in this new {to me it’s still new} stadium. I have to say, the stadium is gorgeous, but the ticket prices are outrageous. Yes, our tickets were free because we went with friends… but the tickets were $285 a piece! A piece! Insanity.

The Cleveland Browns aren’t even good and they charge that much for 300 level tickets? This should be illegal. Just saying.

Perhaps I will go to another Browns football game. But I prefer Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo. Not only do my Bills play there, but the seats are cheaper and the fans know they shouldn’t dish out mega bucks to see their fave team lose.

That is nuts! I don't even think that Steelers tickets or even Bengals are that much, just to compare to other teams in the league!

Mmm…football season. I can't even begin to explain how much I adore it. Whether high school, college or pro, it's got to be one of my FAVORITE things about the fall.

Rachel, I almost fell out of my chair when I read how much those tickets were. That is insane!

I mean, I realize tickets have to cost something – that's how we pay all those millionaires on the team right? Oh, then why did my hot pretzel and pop just cost $17.50? It's outrageous. But they can do it because people will come and people will pay.

You'd think the tickets would be cheaper during the pre-season too, but LOL, it doesn't work that way. This is actually why I sold my PSL and Browns season tickets a few years ago.

Aside from the traffic, I'm glad you had fun though!

Ticket prices here are outrageous too!!! The tickets we got for free last week were so far up I couldn't even see players names on their jerseys and were way too expensive. I can't imagine what the tickets my friend had cost. She was 21 rows from the field. Plus…two hours in traffic is out of control. I probably would have gone home. LOL!!! XOXO

Seriously?! I don't even think tickets in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium are that outrageous…or at least I haven't heard anyone complain yet. Plus…the stadium you went to could be far more superior.

    I'll just stop talking now.
