Dear Vacation:

Please be full of sleep.

And long, hot, showers.

And naps poolside.

Hell, naps in general would be nice.

Please be full of delicious food.

And sangria.

And ice cream.

Please let the weather be wonderful.

Not too hot.

Not too humid.

Just perfect, would be perfect.

Please let us all survive the 12+ hour drive.

And let us survive the beach.

And the sand.

Please let us all avoid sunburn.

And let me get in that sauna just once.

Let me reconnect with my husband.

Let me make wonderful memories with my family.

Let us enjoy everything we have, be refreshed, and feel grateful for all that has happened over the last couple of years.
