Chili’s Dinner 2 for $20 Review and Giveaway!

If you read my blog you probably know a couple of things about me:

1. Besides cleaning and baking, I’m pretty much the least domestic person ever.
2. I have an undying love for any and all Mexican food.

So I was beyond thrilled when Chili’s offered to let me try out their $20 Dinner for Two deal this past Sunday {when I decided I was too lazy to heat something up cook something up myself!}.

While BF and I usually go to locally-owned, small, restaurants around town, it was nice to go to a place with a slightly more laid back atmosphere… and it certainly didn’t hurt that the football games were within close ear and eyeshot from our table! {unrelated: is this how the next 5 months are going to be? Football, football and more football?}

We started with chips and salsa. I love chips and salsa. L.O.V.E. If I could marry chips and salsa, I would. True story. For my main course I ordered the Chicken Club Tacos and BF ordered the Chicken Fajitas.

Our bill was $22 after tax! Not bad for dinner for two – especially considering the amount of leftovers we had! We will definitely go be going back.

Chili’s also provided me with a $20 gift card so that one of you have a chance to take that special someone out to a nice, affordable meal!

Up for grabs: $20 Chili’s gift card.

    Oh man. I would thrilled to have dinner with Kate Chopin (the author of The Awakening). Or maybe King Henry VIII. I just want to know what his deal was with all the wives. Manwhore.

    ANYWAYS. Mexican food rocks and my email address is: valorielovely@gmail.com 🙂

    I would have dinner with my maternal grandmother. She passed away when I was 1 and I'd do pretty much anything to get to know the woman who raised my amazing mother.

    I would most certainly share a meal with three folks, at once or 3 different occassions. Johnny Depp, as I am sure we are to be married some day. Other than a great actor he's an interesting man and highly intelligent. Edgar Allen Poe, my favorite poet of all time. Lastly, but not least, Roald Dahl, my favorite author of all time. Three men, I'd absolutely dine with and even pick up the tab.

    I'd love to have dinner with my fiance. We have been saving towards our wedding and our first home and haven't had the opportunity to eat out at a restaurant in a while. It would be so nice to win!

    I would love to have dinner with Nelson Mandela. I want to know how someone who had been imprisoned for all those years and suffered could have the power to forgive in his heart.

    If he can forgive after the injustices forced on him, then anything is possible.
