A couple of months ago I picked up something from Trader Joe’s at the suggestion of someone on Instagram. This simple, already made, cheeseburger burrito. So, on my next trip to TJ’s, I grabbed one. I’m not kidding when I say that it was so good that I went back the following week and bought FIVE. They were so good that I kept thinking of other ways I could recreate something similar at home. This easy cheeseburger egg rolls recipe is even better than I could imagine.
What You’ll Need
First and foremost, you’ll need to pick up some wonton wrappers. If you’ve never used wonton wrappers before, you can get them in the produce section of nearly any grocery store. You’ll also want to have your air fryer handy for this recipe. It perfectly crisps the outsides! If you need a suggestion for one, this is my favorite.
Here’s what else you’ll need:
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 9 egg roll wraps
- 3-4 slices of bacon, cooked and diced
- 1/2 of a yellow onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of parsley
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 2 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
- 3 slices of American cheese
As a bonus, I threw together the perfect burger ‘dipping’ sauce! Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon of diced pickles
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
