Happy day after Thanksgiving and Black Friday!

I have accidentally been very absent the last few days. 

I have been in Denver, Colorado since last Saturday and, unexpectedly, 
my MacBook wasn’t agreeing with the wireless connection here… 
So, I was without my computer — GASP!

It hasn’t been entirely awful without my computer. 

I’ve had my iPhone and BFs laptop. 
And I’ve been focusing on being offline. 
So I am back and feeling refreshed!
I’ll be back to my regular blogging tomorrow once I’m back in Ohio 
and have slept in my own bed for at least 10 hours. 
Until then, a quick glimpse into what we’ve been doing for the last 7 days:

Just a quick post to say hello from North Carolina!

My co-worker and I left suddenly yesterday afternoon for a business trip.

Hopefully it will be both short and sweet! And hopefully my nerves will last through the flight home to Ohio!

It’s been a crazy few days in California! Work has been keeping me very busy. I’m still on Ohio time and fairly exhausted for for 7:00PM PST.

I’m really happy to be heading back home tomorrow morning. I’ve missed BF and the pups terribly!

I could really use some happy thoughts for tomorrow… I’m terrified about the flying again!

Finally a bit of internet access!

First off, California is gorgeous! But the trip to get here was… exhausting, to say the least!

Turns out I’m afraid of flying. And this is something I had forgotten. Until we were in the air. And I was mid-panic attack. Oops.

Luckily HT was there to try and calm me down. Unfortunately her idea of calming is to read to me about what she was studying… which was HIV/AIDS. Not that calming, actually.

Also not comforting? Saying “Don’t worry. If we crash we’ll die on impact.” Super.

But all is well now that I have two-feet on the ground!

goodbye Ohio, hello LA

Well I’m off to L.A. for a few days! I’ve only packed enough to fit in a carry on {clearly I’m crazy}! In addition to getting some serious work done on this trip, I’m hoping to check out some great restaurants and perhaps take a stroll through some must-see tourist attractions.
