So What! Wednesday

Even though I’m having a ‘light’ blogging week, I’m still linking up with Shannon from Life After I Do for another week of saying…

SO WHAT if…

• this week I ordered {and already received} my third pair of TOMS.
  They’re super comfortable, and I’m pretty much worn my first two pairs out in 7 months.
  TOMS + pregnancy = so so comfortable!

• I couldn’t find the charger for my Nikon battery, so I just ordered a new one.
  Yeah, it wasn’t cheap. But I started to fear that I would never find it and the battery would die the day I went into labor.
  Woops. Fear averted.

• I’ve already asked my favorite baristas when pumpkin spice is coming back!
  Their answer? They already have it in stock.
  But they aren’t allowed to sell it yet.
  Say, what?? Not fair!

• the one thing I’m really and truly looking forward to this week is our baby shower 🙂
  Other than that, I’m kind of already over this whole week. Especially the work part of it.

SO WHAT if…

• our kitchen has been a disaster since the weekend kitchen renovations occurred and I’ve been far too lazy to devote the time to reorganizing it.

• my obsessive list-making is seriously impacting my time allotted to knock things off my to-do list. It happens.

• my boobs look huge in this shirt {aka – every shirt}. I’m pregnant. They aren’t going anywhere. Get use to them, people! And stop talking about them!
  {end rant — and yes, people who see me every.single.day. feel the need to tell me how much cleavage they can see.
  and to them I respond, “You’re welcome.” What? They’re getting  free show!}

• maybe, just maybe, I purchased a couple of adorable things from the J.Crew baby catalog even though I said I wouldn’t.

• I legit almost just spelled catalog, catalouge. WTF!? Ha!

• I jump for joy every time we get a package in the mail. These are exciting times, peoples!! 🙂

• the highlight of my week has been getting my free pair of VS undies + new blush from Sephora!

• yesterday my body rejected all food + gave me some sort of stomach bug.
  It probably didn’t help that my body is/was exhausted.

• our house is a completely disaster. I know I can only keep up on so much right now.
  After working 10-hour days non-stop for the last couple of weeks, I’m kind of over it all.

• I’m only home for 2-minutes before I’ve stripped down and put PJs on.

• I keep peaking at our Babies R Us registry to see what fun items I can expect at our shower in a few weeks.
  It’s not like I’m not familiar with what’s on the registry!

• I’ve been eating Stouffers Pizzas for lunches every day this week. They’re easy + I’m tired.

• my to-do list has gone by the wayside for the week. Things will get done when they get done.

• it’s clear to everyone that I’m over their nonsense right now. I’m not exactly trying to hide it. Over.It.

SO WHAT if…

• I’m a roller coaster of emotions. I’m allowed right now! Plus, we seem to have more than our fair share of crappy drama
  going on right now. And I’m not entirely sure how to process it while pregnant!
• I’ve heard about all of the crazy scary ingredients that Starbucks puts into their beverages and food,
  and I’ve still been going religiously.
• I have been in planning overdrive for Baby L,
  but we’ve had little actual progress on things like, oh, I dunno…
  the nursery! 😛
• We are keeping Baby L’s name a secret from pretty much everyone til he’s born.
  It feels like it’s the ‘last secret’ we’ll be able to keep for quite some time! And we’re pretty dang excited about it!
• I have 10 blog posts typed up and saved as drafts, but haven’t found a second to read them over one last time so that I can post them.
• My biggest heartbreak this week was seeing the Bachelorette, Emily, pick Jef over Arie. I like Jef, but I LOVED Arie.
  

  Sigh. Just look at this gorgeous man! 🙂 Hopefully he’ll be the new Bachelor some day.

SO WHAT if…

• I’ve been plagued by pregnancy emotions these last few days. I’m allowed! I’m pregnant! Let me cry if I want to! 🙂
• I yell at the TV during reality shows {like the Bachelorette}.
  I need my voice to be heard, even if it’s just by myself and Chad.
  {And because Chris from the Bachelorette just needs to be yelled at. Gah! He’s so annoying}
  

  Ugh. Yuck. Not a fan.

• My idea of cleaning lately is to start a project and then get tired and sit down, instead of finishing it.
• I’m obsessed with my new Erin Condren Life Planner.
  I used my old life planner non-stop over this past year, and the new one is even better!
  I’m extra excited about the pens + instagram stickers!

SO WHAT if…

• I’m spending this fourth of July cleaning and organizing for very special weekend visitors instead of going to a cookout.
• I’m totally slacking on my mama-to-be reading the last few weeks.
  I was on baby book reading kick for a while, and then I got burnt out. I’ll hop back on that train soon 😉
• I pretty much threw a fit all weekend. I was a bit cranky.
  And I learned what it’s like to be angry at my husband for absolutely no reason. Sigh, pregnancy!
• I’m beyond excited that Weeds is finally back on! I’ve missed Mary Louise Parker! 🙂
• I can’t wait to feel a sense of relief after our post-elopement reception is over this weekend. I’m definitely excited for it, but I think it will definitely give me some more time to focus on the arrival of Baby L.
