retail therapy

I could seriously use some retail therapy. But, since I’m too broke to actually spend money, I spend hours and hours window-shopping online. True Story.

But if I happen to find some extra money [or if some generous person decides to throw me an extra five-hundred dollars or so], I’ve pretty much got it all spent already. Here’s what would be on my immediate purchase list:

Saturday Randoms

My mom came into town last night. I’m excited for a couple of reasons:
1. She hasn’t been able to visit very much since January. She was here the first week I went back to work + then again a couple of weeks ago.

2. Chad and I are going to go on a date while she’s here! Yep, another day date [evenings are still too exhausting and hectic for us]. It’s pretty awesome having her around.

This blog post about explaining gender to boys is something I have a feeling I’m going to relate to at some point. I’ll have to save this.

I kind of misplaced my kindle. I mean, I know it’s around here somewhere. But I have “stuff” scattered everywhere. I’m going to make it a point to find it this weekend.

Ari totally needs this Where the Wild Things Are print from Etsy store Olive and Birch:
We scored tickets to the Indians home opener this Monday, but we aren’t able to go. Luckily, we have tickets to the game next Saturday against the Chicago White Sox in the Indians Social Suite!

I have a three-day weekend. And it seriously couldn’t have come at a better time. I need Monday off in the worst way.

This Zoya pink matte nail polish. I know it’s not a current color, but I’m still loving it. Especially as a Valentine’s day color!

I’ve tried other brands, but I was hooked when I started using Redken Refresh Dry Shampoo. New mom means a little [ha! a lot] less time to get ready in the mornings. To a dear friends suggestion, I tried this out and love it!

Blog post + gift guide from Akron Blogger Ashley, from My Little Apartments’, Gift Guide For The Environmentally Inclined. Which rings especially true for us — as we asked for gift cards to our local gym to renew our membership. Something we both need and is something that isn’t just ‘stuff.’

It seriously amazes me how quickly babies grow up. I’m finally all caught up on my google reader and everyone’s blogs. And I’m baffled at how all of these tiny babies and bloggers who were just pregnant (or so it would seem) now have 1- and 2-year olds!

My obsession with chevron is seriously getting out of control. Would it be acceptable to redecorate both our room and the spare room with yellow & grey chevron? You don’t need to answer, I know the answer… Definitely not acceptable.
