Hope everyone’s Friday’s are going well! I cannot wait for this work day to be over! I’m not sure what this weekend holds in store for me, but I’ll be sure to keep y’all updated! 🙂

    All of them. For real. I hate bugs.
  2. Which Bugs Bunny cartoon do you remember most fondly?
    I remember hating bugs bunny and most of the looney toons. They BUG me. LOL. Crack myself up.
  3. What bugs you most about your life online?
    Walking a fine line between real life and online anonymity.
  4. Which of your favorite websites seems often to be especially buggy?
    Twitter. Facebook. BLOGGER. Yes, blogger, why are you so annoying?
  5. When were you last too sick to get out of bed? A few months ago I woke up feeling like death. Called off work on a really important day (which I hate doing). UGH.

…and friday means, the friday five (well, and it means a lot of other things)! But why not start the weekend out right. Right? 🙂

1. What is the longest you’ve gone between haircuts?
Far too long. Umm, I once went over a year and a half. I wanted to see how long it would grow. Plus I’m kinda too lazy to pay for a haircut. So by the time I went to the salon, it was long enough to donate 13 inches to Locks of Love … and my haircut and style was FREE!

2. What is the shortest hour of the day?
The one where I’m getting ready to run out the door… never enough time.

3. What is the longest line you’ve ever stood in?
The line to audition for American Idol (the story is ridiculous. I’ll share another time).

4. Who’s your shortest adult friend?
My cousin, Bo, is 4’10” at age 27.

5. Who among your current friends have you known the longest?
My bestest, C. Almost 20-years now.

Oh! I forgot to mention in one of my last few posts that that dress I had wanted? Well, I picked it up from J.Crew last weekend (in a different color):



Wednesday night (ehh, Thursday morning-ish) I picked BF and his mom up from the airport. I just made it in time (which is actually nice for a change considering I always get there early and wait around forever)! I was thrilled to see him step off that plane. I’m not gonna lie, it would have been nice if it was just him so I would have felt more comfortable running up to him and kissing him. But I felt watched. So no tears. No over-excitement. Just smiles and whispers of I love you.

Thursday I had a horrific day at work. A lot has been going on there and I was exhausted by 4:30. Poor BF had to hear me crying for hours yesterday. Literally. Hours. We also watched the movie Seven Pounds, which made me cry even more. Good movie, but wow did I cry!

It’s that time again! Yep, it’s Friday! I’m really thrilled for a 3-day weekend. BF and I have nothing planned, which is nice considering next weekend we will be out of control busy! This weekend I have to work at the yoga studio and I’ll probably squeeze a few yoga practices in as well.

Since my weekend will be rather uneventful, what are everyone’s plans for the weekend? I would love to hear!

1. WHAT KIND OF OUT-OF-SCHOOL LESSONS DID YOU TAKE AS A KID?
– When I was a baby (through 6 years old) I took swimming lessons.
– At age five I began gymnastics.
– At age 12 I took out-of-school voice lessons.

2. WHAT VALUABLE LESSON DID YOU LEARN THIS PAST WEEK?
– To trust very, very few people (sadly, a lesson I am sure to learn over and over again).

3. WHO IN YOUR LIFE REALLY NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON?
– Everyone needs to keep learning. I cannot think of anyone I’d particularly want to give bad karma to.

4. WHAT KINDS OF LESSONS WOULD YOU LOVE TO HAVE A PRIVATE TEACHER FOR RIGHT NOW?
– Cooking. I need to learn how to cook. Or a foreign language. That would be fun!

5. WHAT STEPS HAVE YOU TAKEN TO LESSEN THE IMPACT OF THESE ROUGH ECONOMIC TIMES?
– I’m watching where and what I spend my money on. Something I’ve been trying to do for a while.

The Friday 5 for May 8th 2009!

1. What’s your favorite card game?
My favorite card game would probably be something like Phase 10 or Skip-Bo. I think other regular card games like Rummy are kinda boring.


2. What’s your favorite roll-the-dice-and-move game?
Monopoly! I will always love that game… or Life… but I don’t think you really “roll”… you spin.

3. What’s your favorite playground game?
I remember the days of 4-square and how I used to play for HOURS at a time! Those were the days…

4. What’s your favorite party game?
A**hole for SURE! I LOVE that game… it’s just fun. ‘Nuff said.

5. What’s your favorite computer game?
I used to love playing the SIMS…. I feel like people are really going to judge me over this one… 🙂 Don’t judge. 😉

The Friday Five!

  1. When did you last sleep in a tent?
    • I can’t even remember when! But that will be changing soon! I think we are going to be taking a whitewater rafting trip at the end of May. More to come on this trip!
  2. What comes to mind when you think about relieving yourself in the great outdoors?
    • Stage fright. For REAL. I must REALLY have to pee if I am going outside.
  3. Where’s the best place you ever went camping?
    • I’m going to say Tennessee. We went camping in the smoky mountains for a week.
  4. What’s your favorite camp food?
    • S’mores! I’m so pumped about the trip I’m planning in May! At the top of my “to-bring” list are Graham Crackers, Chocolate and Marshmallows!
  5. What’s your sleeping bag like?
    • Warm. It’s guarantee is to keep you warm up to negative 40 degree weather! EEK! Let’s hope it’s not that cold in West Virginia in May! It also has a broken zipper (Thank you Oscar puppy for chewing the zipper).

What is your favorite fizzy, bubbly drink? Cherry Coke Zero! I’m so glad I was introduced to it.
What is your favorite deep-fried food? Chimichangas! The one thing I will splurge on a couple times a year!
What is your favorite hot beverage? Tea. I don’t like my coffee hot. I only drink Iced Coffee…. and I HATE iced tea. Yuck!
What is your favorite really messy food? I am a messy person, so usually whatever I eat, it’s a mess.
What is your favorite recipe for a blended or mixed beverage? I love White Russians! YUM!
