Baby L Watch 2012.

I’m two days past my due date.

And this is my third day of maternity leave.

So far?

I’ve deep cleaned every carpet in our house;

I’ve made several freezer meals — including chicken pot pies, mexican dip and buffalo chicken dip {recipe + directions to come!};

I made a batch of homemade pop tarts to be frozen for easy breakfast snack {directions to come!};

I crafted a Halloween wreath;

I hung all of our wedding photos throughout the house;

I made awesomely delicious — and organic! — pumpkin spice coffee creamer {recipe to come!};

I hand painted our street address on a pumpkin for the front yard;

I cleaned out, organized, and wrote down an inventory of our refrigerator, freezer and our big free-standing freezer;

I, finally, found a set of placemats that I love;

I washed all the sheets and towels in our house;

I made a yummy fall trail mix — which I’ve been snacking on non-stop!;

and I slept for a good 9 hours for two nights straight!

I would call the last few 2 days a complete success! If Baby L decides to stay put for today — which, let’s face it, he likely will — I’ve got a lot more nesting up my sleeve! πŸ˜‰

    Maybe if I was pregnant I could accomplish all of my house cleaning and reorganizing. I still have wedding and shower gifts to put away!

      LOL – apparently, yes! Haha! It really has lit a fire underneath us for the last 9 months, too. We’ve gotten a lot of household projects done that were long overdue! Haha!
